| Aalborg University e-Learning Lab - Centre for User Driven Innovation, Learning and Design at Aalborg University is established to support development and use of e-learning regionally and internationally. The Centre provides a dynamic and collaborative research environment characterized by an experimental and interdisciplinary approach, drawing upon theory and methods from pedagogy, technology, organization, and design. e-Learning Lab works with concrete IT implementations within different domains as education, health care, digital governance and sustainable development, with special focus in facilitating experiments with new technologies and knowledge sharing among different stakeholders, and providing pedagogical and technical consultancy and participatory research in relation to educational experiments in these sectors. One of the main aims of e-Learning Lab is to contribute to the bridging of the digital divide in developing countries. Under this perspective, the role of e-Learning Lab within the ELAC-project is to develop a methodological and theoretical frame that contains the understanding of technological, educational, and pedagogical development using the Aalborg University expertise on problem oriented and project based learning approaches as part of departure. e-Learning Lab is part of Department of Communication and Psychology within the Faculty of Humanities. e-Learning Lab is related to the Doctoral School on Human Centered Informatics and to the educational programs in Humanistic Informatics and Information Sciences. Moreover, masters for professionals on ICT and Learning and Health Care Informatics are part of the portfolio. Two educational initiatives are under preparation: Master in Sustainable ICT Development and Information Architecture. Please read more about e-Learning Lab at www.ell.aau.dk |
